1. Director of Life Long Learning

Hyphen SA is recruiting a director for the Hyphen Life Long Learning Centre. Our programmes are attended by business owners, managers, specialists, teachers, trainers, authors and publishing specialists, including editors, designers, illustrators and content specialists. The successful candidate will have extensive teaching and/or training experience in the areas of management and/or education. Post-graduate studies in educational methodology or theory of learning would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will report to Hyphen SA’s COO and be expected to:
  • contribute to the design and development of training courses
  • run Hyphen SA’s Life Long Learning Centre adhering to the central policy and ethical code of the company
  • manage trainers, suppliers, content developers and trainees
  • maintain educational training tools and be up-to-date with latest developments
  • organize and run training campaigns
  • present training programmes to the public, B2B and B2C
  • manage P&Ls and Cost Centres for the Learning Centre and report accordingly
  • research appropriate platforms and tools for online training and flipped classroom
Further skills required for this post are:
  • fluency in English and Greek
  • familiarity with digital educational platforms
  • understanding of learner and instructor evaluation systems
  • public speaking and presentation skills
  • ability to manage and empower a diverse pool of trainers
  • ability to provide comprehensive briefs and feedback
  • ability to organize events and training days
  • educational proposal assessment
  • trainer assessment and recruitment
  • good understanding of numbers and basic finance
  • cross platform digital device usage (computers, tablets, mobile devices, etc.)
  • familiarity with both iOS and Android systems
  • information content development and text writing
  • good understanding and use of social media
  • clean valid driving license
For the foreseeable future, this post could be part or full time, depending on other commitments of the candidate, however we expect the successful candidate to be able to commit to Hyphen SA in the mornings and early afternoons. 2. Trainee ELT editor

Hyphen SA is a publishing service provider, offering a wide range of editorial and design services to English Language publishers. We work with international publishing houses, such as Cambridge University Press, Pearson Education and Oxford University Press.


We are recruiting two in-house ELT editors for our offices in Thessaloniki.


The successful candidates will need to be native English speakers and have:
  • an excellent command of the English language
  • familiarity with ELT and/or at least 3 years’ teaching experience in ELT (primary and/or secondary)
  • a good eye for detail and a systematic working style
  • maintain educational training tools and be up-to-date with latest developments
  • the ability to manage work and meet tight deadlines
  • effective communicational and organizational skills
Any experience in ELT publishing, print and/or digital components would be an advantage. For the foreseeable future, this post would be full time. We expect the successful candidates to be able to commit to Hyphen SA in the mornings until early afternoons.
